Matthes Tree Farm Family Session | Waggoner Family
Ahhh, I just adore the Waggoner family. Sabrina and I have been friends since we were in kindergarten and it was so exciting for me to finally get to capture her beautiful, little family. We decided that the Matthes Tree Farm was the perfect location for their family session, especially getting into the Christmas season. It was unusually warm for early November but it worked out perfectly for us.
We started the family session out by getting some posed, smiling-at-the-camera shots in front of the large pine trees. My style of photography usually has a lot of movement, but I always make sure to get at least one or two traditional, posed shots. We walked over to the smaller trees and had some fun dancing around and making baby Weston laugh. The session ended with some alone time in front of the camera for mom and dad. I always make it a priority to spend time with just the parents at my family sessions so that they can have a few photos of the two of them, as well.
